Shipping & Delivery Policy

ChaloSaath is a digital marketplace for travel experiences (trips, stays, taxis, rentals, guided tours, and trip-management services). We do not ship any physical goods. This policy explains how our digital services are "delivered" so that travelers know exactly what to expect after a successful payment.

1. Nature of the service

  • All services on ChaloSaath are experiential / digital bookings that are consumed at a specified date, time, or location agreed between the traveler and the vendor.
  • No tangible products are dispatched, couriered, or shipped.

2. Booking confirmation (digital "delivery")

  • On successful payment via Razorpay, an instant booking confirmation is shown on the checkout screen and stored under My Bookings in your dashboard.
  • A confirmation email is sent to the email address on file within a few minutes.
  • Vendor contact details (phone / email) are unlocked inside the booking after payment is verified server-side, so you can coordinate the actual experience directly.

3. When the service is "delivered"

  • Trips, treks, day-tours, guides: the service is delivered on the trip start date agreed with the vendor.
  • Stays / hostels: on check-in at the property on the booked dates.
  • Taxis: at the agreed pickup time and location.
  • Rentals: when the vehicle is handed over by the rental vendor.
  • Trip Manager consultations: on the agreed call / meeting time.

4. Confirmation timelines

  • Pay Now bookings: instantly confirmed once Razorpay verifies the payment (typically under 30 seconds).
  • Pay Later bookings: the slot is reserved instantly on payment of the Reservation Fee. The remainder is settled directly with the vendor on arrival.
  • If you do not see a confirmation email within 30 minutes, please check your spam folder and contact support@chalosaath.in with your Razorpay payment ID.

5. Failed deliveries

If your payment is captured but you do not receive a booking confirmation due to a system issue, our reconciliation system uses Razorpay webhooks to recover the booking automatically. If the booking still cannot be confirmed within 24 hours, a full refund is initiated to your original payment method. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

6. Geographic coverage

ChaloSaath services are currently focused on travel experiences across India. Vendor locations and service availability are listed on each individual listing / trip page.
