ChaloSaath is built on trust. These guidelines apply to everyone on the Platform — travelers, vendors, trip managers, and admins. They help keep conversations healthy, trips safe, and reviews honest. Violations may lead to warnings, content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.
1. Respect Every Traveler
- Treat every person with kindness regardless of gender, religion, caste, ethnicity, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or language.
- No harassment, bullying, hate speech, stalking, sexual misconduct, or threats.
- No discrimination in bookings, pricing, pickups, or room allocations — including against international travelers.
2. Be Honest in Listings & Reviews
- Listings must describe the real service — accurate photos, working equipment, real availability and prices.
- Reviews must be based on genuine personal experience. No fake, paid, incentivised, or retaliatory reviews.
- Do not copy photos or descriptions from other listings, brands, or websites.
3. No Harmful or Illegal Content
- Do not post content that is sexually explicit, violent, graphic, defamatory, or promotes illegal activities.
- Do not share personal information of other people without consent.
- Do not promote or facilitate drug use, wildlife trafficking, unauthorised entry into protected areas, or any illegal activity.
4. Keep Communication Clean
- Be polite in chats, whether with vendors, trip managers, or co-travelers.
- Do not spam, send unsolicited promotions, or push users to move off-platform for payments.
- Do not share OTPs, UPI PINs, or bank credentials with anyone.
5. Trust & Safety Expectations
- Vendors: hold valid licences, insurance, and service standards. Do not overbook.
- Trip managers: be transparent about experience and availability.
- Travelers: show up on time, follow the itinerary, and respect local culture.
- No carrying of weapons, illegal substances, or hazardous goods on any trip booked via ChaloSaath.
6. Respect Local Culture & Environment
- Minimise single-use plastic. Carry your own water bottle and a small trash bag.
- Do not litter, deface, or damage cultural monuments, nature trails, or accommodations.
- Ask before photographing locals, especially in tribal or religious settings.
- Support local economies — prefer homestays, local guides, and locally made goods where possible.
7. Authentic Identity
- Use your real name and a recognisable profile photo.
- One person, one account. Duplicate or fake accounts will be removed.
- Vendors and trip managers must use business names and contact details that match their registration documents.
8. Using AI Responsibly
- Our AI Trip Planner is a helper, not a guarantee. Always confirm permits, seasonality and availability with a trip manager or vendor before paying.
- Do not attempt to prompt-inject, jailbreak, or misuse the AI Planner to generate harmful, discriminatory, or illegal content.
- Do not copy AI-generated itineraries wholesale into paid listings or commercial guidebooks — use them as inspiration only.
9. Reporting a Violation
If you see behaviour that violates these guidelines, report it by writing to support@chalosaath.in with the username or listing URL, a short description, and screenshots where possible. We aim to acknowledge within 48 hours.
10. Consequences
- Warning — for minor, first-time issues.
- Content removal — for listings, reviews, or chats that break the rules.
- Temporary suspension — for repeated or serious violations.
- Permanent ban — for fraud, harassment, safety incidents, or illegal activity.
